The Irregular At Magic High School: Nine Schools Competition Arc Vol. 1

With only a few magic users in Japan, they’re a rare commodity and forced to attend one of nine magic-related schools, each of which focuses on a different aspect. Among these users is Tatsuya Shiba, a user who’s considered magically inept but manages through his unusual technical knowledge, combat abilities, and unique magical techniques, making him the “irregular” of The Irregular at Magic High School, a popular fantasy series written by Tsutomu Sato with illustrations by Tsuna Kitaumi.
Tatsuya’s challenges continue as the nine magical schools compete in the Nine Schools Competition. Miyuki is elected to be a contestant while Tatsuya is forced to join as an engineer. The event is thrown off course, however, when an anti-magic terrorist group tries to sabotage First High and injures Mari. Will Tatsuya be able to protect Miyuki from this group as she takes Mari’s place?!
