The Irregular At Magic High School: Enrollment Arc Vol. 1

With only a few magic users in Japan, they’re a rare commodity and forced to attend one of nine magic-related schools, each of which focuses on a different aspect. Among these users is Tatsuya Shiba, a user who’s considered magically inept but manages through his unusual technical knowledge, combat abilities, and unique magical techniques, making him the “irregular” of The Irregular at Magic High School, a popular fantasy series written by Tsutomu Sato with illustrations by Tsuna Kitaumi.
This unforgettable story begins with the Enrollment Arc. Tatsuya and his sister Miyuki Shiba enter First High, a school known for segregating its students based on their abilities into either the first or second course. Being a prodigy, it comes as no surprise when Miyuki is placed in the first course and then recruited into the Student Council. Tatsuya’s experience is far less positive, though, as he’s bullied by his classmates in the second course. Will his unique strength be good enough to carry him through?
