The Great Passage Vol. 1

The Great Passage (or Fune wo Amu ) is a beautiful story with film, drama, and novel adaptations, and now you can get swept away with it as a manga. This series is written by Shion Miura with illustrations by Haruko Kumota and follows protagonist Mitsuya Majime as he joins a team of dictionary editors as they attempt to put together a new dictionary called the “Daitokai” ("The Great Passage") which would bridge the gap between people and words.
The story begins in volume 1 with 160 pages in Japanese! Majime meets Kouhei Araki, a veteran editor seeking to retire, and finds himself joining the team as they attempt to work on the Daitokai.
