Yomi Takeda and Tamaki Yamazaki were the best of friends as kids and bonded over their shared love of baseball. But as they grew older they were separated and, even though they promised each other they would keep playing, Yomi decided to quit her passion despite her impressive talent as a pitcher. After she starts her first year at Shin Koshigaya High School, she meets twins Yoshino and Ibuki Kawaguchi who are two diehard baseball fans, and, what’s more, she is reunited with Tamaki which rekindles her desire to play. Alongside new friends Yoshino and Ibuki, Yomi and Tamaki join the school’s baseball team in an effort to fulfill their childhood promise to one another.
