One day, she buys a used Honda Super Cub she sees at a local motorcycle shop at a great price, and her empty life begins to change as she begins experiencing the joy of motorcycle riding and meets a fellow Cub rider named Reiko.
In Vol. 4, winter, the season of trials and tribulations for motorcycle riders, is upon Koguma. She and Reiko are struggling to find protective gear like a windshield and gloves and they happen upon Shii Eniwa, who Kogama previously met at the culture festival, who gives them good ideas for combating the winter chill.
