When Yuugo Hachiken fails the entrance exam for his chosen high school, he makes the surprising decision to enroll at an agricultural college precisely because it is far away from his family. A mild-mannered city boy, Hachiken has no idea what farming life entails and mistakenly thinks he’ll have plenty of time to study for college with an easier workload.
