Haruka Takayama and Yu Sonoda are two schoolgirls and the best of friends who were inseparable during middle school. Once they enter high school, though, they are forced apart by a seating arrangement that has them on opposite sides of the room. When Yu starts hitting it off with other female classmates due to her easygoing personality, Haruka begins feeling insecure in their friendship. To make her feel better, Yu suggests they do something special together and the two end up kissing in secret.
