Pieces Gem 02 Neuro Hard Hachi No Wakusei

Masamune Shirow will be a familiar name to fans of anime and manga with his many landmark contributions to the genre including such well known titles as Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed. However, you may not have heard of one of his earlier works – Neuro Hard: Hachi no Wakusei in which a bunch of irresponsible space pirates crash land into a planet that is entirely controlled by bees. Now this rare installment of Shirow’s career receives its first dedicated collection with this second entry in the Pieces Gem series which reprints the comic and its plot as a magazine book alongside some other work by the famous artist including some previously unseen illustrations from Appleseed and a few comments too.
