After helping save a woman in distress, high schooler Akira Kurusu is accused of assault and is transferred to Shujin Academy in Tokyo. Though at first isolated due to unsubstantiated rumors, he soon meets other troubled teens, each disturbed by the injustice of the world and the corrupt adults who run it. Together, they form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, whose mission is to free adults from the greed inside their hearts. Using a strange smartphone app called the Metaverse Navigator, the group is able to enter the world of people’s hearts called Mementos, where they fight against Shadows to reform society using their Persona powers and their own brand of justice. Based on the hit game by ATLUS, Persona 5 is now a manga!
