Yuta Okkotsu is a high school student who longs for death. When he was a child, he lost his childhood friend Rika Yoshimoto, whom he promised to marry, in a car accident right in front of his eyes, and now he is haunted by her and the Curse she has turned into. Meanwhile, a teacher at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College (also called Jujutsu High), a school that teaches about Curses in order to exorcise them, named Satoru Gojo appears.
