Mawaru Penguindrum – Hoshino Lily Artworks

Lily Hoshino may be better known for her work in the BL genre, but 2011’s Mawaru Penguindrum saw her moving over into anime character design as celebrated in this artbook dedicated to her work on the TV anime series. This volume contains original drawings and settings used in the anime series as well as a short manga, interviews, and comments on her illustrations from Hoshino herself. No self-respecting Mawaru Penguindrum fan will want to be without this great visual guide to its totally absurd world.
