Land Vol. 5

In a certain village, all must meet their deaths at the age of 50. The villagers think of the village as “this world” while those over 50 must retreat to the “other world” over the mountain. Anzu sacrificed the older of twin girls to the mountain and is filled with hope and despair in equal measure living in the village with its officials clad in the skins of beasts…
In volume 5 of Land, seven years of peace have passed in “this world” but one night the Yotsumegami begin to move, sending the village into a panic….
