In search of work, the two settle in the beginner town of Axel where they meet an explosion-loving sorceress named Megumin and a swordswoman named Darkness who’s a total hopeless masochist! Together, the party begins taking on odd jobs as they eek out a living and maybe, eventually, will get around to going after the Devil King…maybe.
In Vol. 8, Aqua becomes jealous of the Eiris Festival and decides to hold her own, roping Kazuma and Chris into the preparations!
