Ichika Usami loves sweets so much she wants to become a patisserie chef but struggles with her baking skills. Her life changes when she meets Pekorin, a fairy who can detect the Kirakiraru which gives sweet things their sweetness and is made up of all the emotions that go into baking. However, an evil fairy, Gummy, has his sights set on stealing the Kirakiraru forcing Ichika with her friends Himari, Aoi, Yukari, and Akira to transform themselves into Legendary Patisserie Pretty Cures to protect their precious sweets!
In the first volume of KiraKira PreCure a la Mode: PreCure Collection, Ichika makes a confession, and the guys deal with a lost cat and a rainy Tanabata festival.
