Only spending a self-imposed three days and two nights in each location, Kino encounters the dark side of the world everywhere she goes, from oppression and tyranny to tragedy, but also the good that remind her how precious, wonderful, and beautiful the world is.
Kino and Hermes begin their journey in Volume 1 of the Japanese manga that spans 180 pages and includes chapters 1-3.
