Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu Vol. 1

In 1863 at the end of the tumultuous samurai era, Japan is split between the pro-shogunate and anti-shogunate factions, and the very course of history itself is threatened with the arrival of an army from the future. In order to quell this threat and protect the true history, Horikawa Kunihiro and Izuminokami Kanesada, two Touken Danshi, spirits of Japanese swords brought to life by the Saniwa, along with a gang of other warriors confront the invading army in this historical action spin-off to the popular game Touken Ranbu written by Honami Tsuda.
