Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 8

There exists in the world demons called Curses who feed on unsuspecting humans and search for fragments of the legendary demon Ryoumen Sukuna which are cursed items scattered around the world. Should a demon consume the fragments they would gain enough power to destroy the world!
Yuuji Itadori is a high schooler who joins the Occult Research Club at his school in an effort not to join the track team even though he has exceptional physical fitness and excels at sports. One day, the club unknowingly unseals one of the cursed fragments, attracting Curses to their school. With his friends’ lives in danger, Yuuji consumes the fragment to gain the magic power of Sukuna and save his friends, but he ends up becoming cursed himself! Eventually he is able to regain control over his body despite the curse, but he now carries a death sentence because of it. Instead of being exercised right away, he is tasked with finding and consuming all of the fragments so that Sukuna can be killed once and for all.
In Vol. 8, Yuji and the others recover Sukuna’s finger from the incarnated Cursed Wombs. In response to their success, they are recommended to join the first-class sorcerers, but Satoru has his own plans as he uses his influence to pull strings behind the scenes.
