In the near future, a new technology that threatens the stability of the world has been created. IS, or Infinite Stratos, are high-tech powered exoskeletons with technology and combat capabilities that make them vastly superior to any other arms on the planet. In Vol. 11, Phantom Task has gained control of England’s anti-IS orbital weapon Excalibur, but it suddenly goes out of control and begins to de-orbit. Meanwhile, Cecilia goes on a birthday date with Ichika to a theme park on Christmas Eve, but it turns out to be anything but lovey-dovey when the Excalibur fires a barrage of lasers straight down on them! Later, Chelsea appears in the BT3 and challenges Cecilia to a duel. Then, the representatives are tasked with a mission to destroy Excalibur, and Ichika heads into the stratosphere…
