In Vol. 6, Diablo meets a Fallen named Edelgard who wants to help him in freeing the Demon Lord Krebskulm who is sealed inside Rem. Wanting to save Rem, he agrees. However, the group runs into Saddler, a sadistic Paladin who enjoys torturing and killing Demon Lord worshippers, and the situation dials up from 1 to 11 when Diablo inadvertently introduces himself as a Demon Lord in his usual pompous style!
