Horimiya Vol. 4

Kyoko Hori is a bright and popular high school girl, but she has a side that she doesn’t want others to know about. Outside of school she is a homebody who is family oriented, and she takes care of the housework and looks after her younger brother, Souta. Izumi Miyamura is her classmate who also has a secret side he wants to keep hidden from others. At school he is a gloomy otaku who keeps to himself, but in his private life he’s a good-looking, laid-back guy with a punk style that includes piercings and tattoos. One day, the two find out about their alternate personas outside of school when Izumi helps Souta return home after he gets a nosebleed. Not wanting anyone else at school to know their secret, they make a pact with each other and soon become friends. But will their friendship blossom into something else?
In Vol. 4, Izumi takes care of Kyoko when she comes down with a fever and confesses to her while she’s asleep. Little does he know, though, that she ends up hearing the whole thing! How will their relationship change from here?
