Girly Air Force Vol. 2

The Earth is under attack from mysterious flying creatures called Zai who appear suddenly and overwhelm forces around the world with their highly advanced weaponry. In order to fight against them, mankind creates fighter aircraft called “Daughters” that are piloted by automatic mechanisms called “Anima,” which take on the form of human girls. Kei Narutani is a Chinese-Japanese teenager who, during an evacuation from Shanghai to Japan after a Zai attack, sees a Daughter shot out of the sky and comes to the aid of its Anima, a girl named Gripen who is considered to be humanity’s trump card. So begins their story as they fight together for humanity’s future.
