The 1988 film My Neighbor Totoro is justly regarded as a classic both of children’s cinema and of world animation. Since its debut as part of a double header with the much less gentle Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro has gone on to delight generations of children and adults who’ve fallen in love with Totoro and his fellow forest creatures.
