Frankenstein No Matsuei Vol. 1

Written and illustrated by You Higuri, Frankenstein no Matsuei follows Rene, the daughter of Dr. Gustav, a descendant of Victor Frankenstein, and like his ancestor, Gustav succeeds at giving life to his experiments. Rene is tasked with raising the revived corpse whom she names Zeraf. Things quickly take a turn for the worse when Rosenberg, a lieutenant in the army, hears about the experiment and demands to use Zeraf as a weapon. Rena refuses, and the two escape in this dark adventure series.
