Flying Witch Vol. 8

Makoto Kowata is a young witch in training who moves to the town of Hirosaki in Aomori along with her cat familiar Chito as part of her training to live with her family which includes her cousin Chinatsu Kuramoto, a young girl fascinated by witchcraft who looks up to Makoto, Chinatsu’s older brother Kei, and their loving parents Keiji and Nana. Her older sister Akane, a full-fledged witch who travels the world and is the exact opposite of Makoto in nearly every way, even routinely takes time away from her travels to check in on Makoto and help in her training. The story follows Makoto’s daily life as she gets accustomed to her new home, grows closer to her family, makes new friends, and learns about the customs and nuances of witchcraft.
In Vol. 8, summer vacation has arrived, but Makoto’s life is busier than ever! As her training continues, she interacts with owls, learns more about the world of magic, and takes on a new challenge from Kei!
