Darkness fell upon the world when the God of Thunder, Taishakuten, revolted against the Emperor and usurped the throne. Three hundred years later, Yasha-o, a powerful clan leader, is sent on a mission but ends up getting a prophecy about the Six Stars instead. The prophecy also tells about a child he has to raise and who is destined kill him. Yasha-o sets out into the forest to find the child, and thus the journey begins…
Running from 1989 to 1996, RG Veda is the debut manga of the popular artist group CLAMP, known for hit series including Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicle, Chobits, and xxxHolic. The two main characters, Yasha-o and Ashura, also make an appearance in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, making it all the more interesting to learn about their origins~
