Chio’s School Road Vol. 5

Chio is a student who attends an all-female high school. Though she seems normal at first glance, she is constantly in danger of being late due to her walk to school being anything but! Thanks to her awkward ways, she seems to get herself into strange situations every day that escalate quickly as she thinks up completely unnecessary and absurd ways of dealing with them, like hiding in the trash to avoid her classmates or doing death-defying parkour to get around unexpected road construction, which often cause even more problems for her and her friend Manana. All sorts of trouble seems to plague her every day, and all she wants to do is get to school on time!
In Vol. 5, Chio gets into a kancho battle with a mysterious elementary school girl, Manana shows off her “conscious JK” attitude to the fullest, and she and Chio learn how hard it is to make money.
