Yana Toboso’s Black Butler is the supernaturally gothic story of Ciel Phantomhive and his demonic butler Sebastian Michaelis. The orphaned 14 year old master of the Phantomhive household and head of the Funtom toy company, Ciel summoned Sebastian from the depths of hell during a traumatic episode. Together the pair solve mysterious crimes plaguing Victorian England all the while plotting revenge against the dark forces responsible for the murder of Ciel’s parents.
Volume 11 of the Japanese language editions includes chapters 48 to 52 in which Ciel and Sebastian explain the mysterious events of the previous few days to Arthur and later join Lau in his investigations of the Aurora Society.
