Animage January 2017 Special Issue

Animage is one of the longest-running and best-known Japanese magazines focussed on anime and entertainment news. First launched in 1978, Animage was the first home of Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaa manga as well as Saeko Himura’s Ocean Waves which was also adapted into a TV animated movie by Studio Ghibli. Still one of the most prominent anime resources, Animage is an essential monthly read for all fans of Japanese anime culture.
This January 2017 edition of Animage is a special issue dedicated to Maho Girls PreCure! including a character file, an interview with voice actresses Rie Takahashi, Yoshiko Horie, Saori Hayami, and Ayaka Saito, and another interview with voice actresses Aki Kanada, Maya Yoshioka, and Chinami Hashimoto.
This month’s special bonus gifts are a B2 poster featuring an all new illustration, a double-sided special pin-up featuring the Miracle Voice Actors, and a walking guide to the Dai Mahou Festival.
